About this artwork
This sculpture is an allegory to the famous ballet Carmen. It represents a dancer with a long dress in a pose reminiscent of Flamenco dancing with fluid and clean shapes. Made of cedar wood on a marble base, it is an elegant and serene work with great energy contained in the movement of its curves.
