About this artwork
My work reflects the interconnection of the cosmos and vital energy, using acrylics and relief printing techniques mixed with aerosol. The blue tones evoke the immensity and serenity of the sea and sky, while the abstract circles symbolize the eternal dance of life. This piece transmits tranquility and depth, filling any space with peace and reflection. It is a piece of calm for your home. This work created during April 2020, a time of strict post-confinement.… You can put this diptych together or separate each fabric a few centimeters, the work will have a different life in your home and you will decide what it asks of you and how to hang it.
« When I paint my hands don't stop moving, always looking for horizons that only painting allows me to express. »
Arantxa Campos feels like she has been a painter ever since she was able to decide what she wanted for her future. Throughout her career, the passage of time has been a common thread in her varying artistic stages. Campos has figuratively reflected this theme in the past, and currently expresses it through symbolism and abstractions. She paints from macro to micro, employing acrylics on fabric.
