This delicate and striking artwork reads like a visual diary, created with fine acrylics in a notebook format. It belongs to a series that traces the artist’s days, weeks, and months in a troubled part of the world—capturing hardship, struggle, and obstacles, alongside moments of hope and positivity.
The decision to work on paper came from spontaneity rather than planning; the artist simply began painting with whatever was available, driven by an… urgent need to express.
The piece consists of four paintings, each measuring 21 × 29 cm, brought together within a floating glass frame to reflect the continuity of a single unfolding story. The transparent framing invites viewers to explore not only the finished surfaces but also the process visible on the reverse side.
