Zion Ezri
Born in 1971 in Jerusalem into a creative home surrounded by art collectors, Zion moved to London at age six, where he faced the challenge of learning two languages. During this time, he discovered a love for fixing robot toys, sparking his interest in design. Returning to Jerusalem, he was inspired by the city's rich mosaic of cultures and history. In the late ’90s, Zion moved to New York City to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree and immersed himself in the vibrant art scene, fueling his passion for design. Back in Jerusalem, he opened an art gallery, collected art, and collaborated with diverse artists. Zion also earned a law degree from Bar-Ilan University. During the COVID-19 pandemic, his creativity exploded, leading to new works using recycled metal and wood. A self-taught artist influenced by Bauhaus, pop art, and ancient Hebrew letters, he creates 3D wall art and sculptures that blend history with modern design. “Life itself is art,” Zion says.
