About this artwork
Born from an industrial furnace inspection panel, worn by time and marked by heat, the oxidized surface becomes a DioramaART-style setting: scattered metals, shavings, and ferrous fragments evoke a decay animated by miniatures of damaged and burned vehicles, a zone of collapse and abandonment. Ferrous pastes, acrylic paints, burned oil, and material layers amplify the history imprinted in the metal, while the integrated design lighting reveals hidden…

My name is Flora Zambanini and I am a self-taught artist. I transform any type of industrial material into works of art, integrating cement and ferrous pastes, acrylic paints, metal wires, and DioramaART elements: micro-scenes created with miniature real objects. I attach designer lamps directly to the work and, for some niche pieces, use illuminated display cases. Surfaces marked by scratches, dents, and imperfections become aesthetic textures: where oxidation transforms into poetry. A distinctive element of my work is that the works are not created to be hung, but to be experienced in space as pictorial design sculptures.
