It's a modern painting of a summer landscape. Tall trees grow on the edge of the forest. A path that turns to the right against the background of a light blue sky. The color choice is white, gray-blue, blue, yellow-ocher, black-brown, and gray-green. Impressionism and expressionism and realism work together. Nature is beautiful, trees are high enough, landscape is painted in oil. Sunlight is… butning through the trees because its summer. Summertime is a nice time to rest and have some time in shadow to think about life.

The painting was done during the period of study and conveys a sunny mood, I love the forest and therefore it is always a real holiday for me to walk among the birches and pines.

Artem Brazhnik is a painter from Ukraine who has exhibited nationally. He drew often as a child and after his father saw one of his, he exclaimed that he was an artist, which he has remained ever since. Brazhnik’s works mainly feature landscapes, favoring impressionism as his favorite technique for plein air painting. He prefers to create using oils on canvas.
