About this artwork
🖼️ Artwork Description: Not for Sale (Short Version)
Medium: Digital Art / Photo Manipulation
This satirical piece addresses the international debate surrounding Donald Trump's 2019 proposal to buy Greenland.
In the foreground, a figure in a Greenlandic flag beanie declares: "STAY HOME MIGRANTS WE ARE NOT FOR SALE". This statement simultaneously rejects Trump's purchase attempt and comments on border/migration issues.
Opposite him is a caricature… of Donald Trump in his iconic USA hat, flanked by figures representing American ambitions.
The background features an iceberg under the Northern Lights with the overlaid messages: "NOT FOR SALE" and "CLIMATE CHANGE IS REAL".
The artwork serves as a sharp and humorous conversation starter about Greenland's sovereignty, geopolitics, and the strategic importance of the Arctic climate.
