About this artwork
The Mahadeva aspect or first Logos (who personifies the cosmic will) is
controlled by the Law of Synthesis, a cosmic law that governs only the tendency to
unification; but in this case it is not the unification of matter and Spirit, but the
unification of the seven in the three and in the one. These three figures represent
primarily Spirit, quality and principle, and not especially matter which,
although being inspired by the Spirit, it takes… any form. The Law of Synthesis has
direct relationship with the One who is superior to our Logos, being the controlling law that He
applies to the Logos of our system. This spiritual relationship tends towards the abstraction or synthesis of
the spiritual elements, the result of which will be the conscious return to their cosmic point of synthesis or unification with their source
originally. Said source, as we have seen before, is the ONE ON WHOM
NOTHING CAN BE SAID
« I wanted to be a pilot, but I ended up painting. Now I fly higher. »
Arturo Prins is an exciting Spanish artist whose style comes from a sensibility of play, discipline, freedom and rebellion, redoubled in a constant reinvention of himself. Thematically, Prins looks to delve into metaphysics, symbolism, esoteric cosmogony, while mixing in humor to soften the transcendent themes in his work. He also describes his work as being "nostalgic for the future, sometimes with a nod to the eclectic spiritualism between East and West."
