During the events of May 1968, the publisher Tchou decided to collect a selection of the most striking posters in order to maintain the testimony of this popular, student and artistic… expression.
He then works with the printing works most committed to the movement: Cogery, Cabasson and Griffon so that his edition is closest (paper, printing technique) of the posters that circulate in the streets.
The authors of these posters are sometimes artists who will become famous: Alechinsky, Calder, Effel, Matta ...
