About this artwork
When you ultimately elect to enhance your existence, you embark upon the inaugural step in liberating yourself from your former self.
This sculpture is part of my completed series, The Twelve, a foundational body of work that marked my emergence as a sculptor with a defined voice. Each of the twelve pieces represents a moment of offering, sacrifice, or breakthrough that shaped my path and practice. The series is now closed. No additional works will… be added, making each sculpture a finite artifact from a deeply personal creative rite of passage. Collectors who own a piece from The Twelve hold a chapter of that origin story.
