About this artwork
This new one is finished at the end of August 2020.
Usually there are not so many roses in summer, but this year I got some roses towards the end of August,
so I arranged three kinds of roses and a glass vase of steuben.
I also got a rare 'Solanum japonense' and composed it in lovely warm red and pink colors.
Fiesta is a yellow and pink squeezed rose, one of my favorite roses that I've painted in the past two times
I chose a beautiful Steuben glass… vase,it is different from Baccarat.Ofcourse I love both of them. And I have dreamed of getting one of these for many years.
The concept of the glass vase, sculpted to resemble the wrapping of a bouquet,
is brilliant, a dreamy vase that feels like it is "wrapped in glass".
The glass molding near the bottom has a beautiful squeezed look to it,
and I think the upper half of the vase beautifully express
