About this artwork
Description: "Green mist" is a technique of spraying a mist on the support with green paint.
In order to heal my sorrow, I began to spray green paint on the finished painting, and it finally healed my heart.
Natural disasters that hit Japan one after another, such as tsunamis and earthquakes.
The sadness that people suddenly disappear.
It is a work drawn with my prayer to heal the sad soul.

« The paintbrushes that have been passed down from generation to generation eventually became swords to overcome hardships in my life. »
Ayako Tsuge is an artist based in Japan whose paintings have been featued in solo exhibitions nationally. Through her elegant florals and still-lifes, she conveys the perfection found in nature. "Flowers bloom in spring, bear fruit in autumn and save lives", is the central message Tsuge reflects in her works. She creates solely with watercolors in a Japanese style.
