This work is part of the ongoing series Astrattismi Analitici, where abstraction is approached as a process of analysis and construction.
In Lines Within, the composition develops through layers of color and drawn marks that suggest internal structures or mappings. These elements are then interrupted through cuts and stitched interventions, which are integral to the composition rather than applied gestures.
The thread extends the drawn line into… physical space, while the rupture of the canvas introduces tension and reveals underlying layers. Each action responds directly to the composition, creating a balance between control and disruption.
The work does not aim for resolution but remains in a state of tension, where internal forces become visible through material and form.
