About this artwork
Hundreds of times I walked under the all-powerful sun, Vesuvius to my left, southwards and downwards, across terraces and past palm trees, gazing towards the sea, and onwards, to the magnificent houses on my right, the luxury hotels and the modernist building where a dachshund lives, to the gardens and the small shops. I gladly take the long way to the sea.
