About this artwork
The man, half-robot, half-human, embodies the modern individual, caught in a society of consumption and performance, to the point of becoming dehumanized. The phone he holds symbolizes this progressive disconnection from the real world, from others, but also from himself.
Facing him, wings formed by clouds… reveal the sunlight. They represent a call: a call to spirituality, to inner reconnection, and to a return to what is essential. It is an invitation to rediscover meaning, to rebalance matter and spirit.
The contrast between the futuristic city below and the upward movement towards the light reflects this tension between grounding and aspiration. For daring to live one's dreams also means finding this balance: keeping one's feet on the ground while aiming higher.
