About this artwork
As the title clearly indicates, it is a work inspired by music, and in particular clarinets. For me, what you see are clarinets, notes that fly and turn into colors. Painted on a yellow fabric and signed in front of the bottom on the canvas. I often listen to music when I paint, so I had to pay homage to music.
« My works are philosophical and precious. You sink into them; feel the force of nature and the author’s energy. »
French painter Barbara Piatti has worked and exhibited across the world, in China, Germany, the United States, and India, to name a few. A self-described traveler and story-teller, Piatti's boundless curiosity pushes her to constantly make new artistic discoveries. Sometimes mathematically geometric, other times philosophical and delicate, Piatti's diverse oeuvre is reflective of her ability to masterfully capture and distill the essence of her inspiration - be it place, object, or person.
