About this artwork
I lived & loved the Chelsea neighborhood. Several paintings were inspired by the view from my studio on the 12th floor.
This oil painting on red paper made by hand and then mounted on canvas, shows my view outside, a parking lot surrounded by buildings and the nearby 26th street. The white ball was during the month of April until In mid May a mystery, I had no idea what it was. And one morning the white ball disappeared and instead there was… a tennis court, of course on the roof of a building.
