About this artwork
With this expressionist acrylic painting, I sought to capture a dynamic balance between order and movement. The white windows represent moments of clarity, while the fish symbolize the freedom and fluidity of thought. I wanted to convey a sense of vibrant calm, perfect for filling a space with positive energy and deep reflection. Each stroke reflects my passion for finding harmony within the visual chaos of life.
Bartolomé Cerda Cañellas is a self-taught painter whose passion for colors and forms emerged in his childhood, using any materials he could find. He works primarily in painting, drawing inspiration from fish, pomegranates, and the Mallorcan landscape. His technique lies somewhere between abstract impressionism and a conscious exploration of his childlike side, capturing the essence of nature and the everyday. His works convey the emotion of human insignificance in the face of nature's vastness, evoking profound feelings of wonder and connection with the environment.
