Béatrice Lefèvre is a French-Swedish artist based between Italy and Switzerland. Introduced to painting in Sweden at the age of seven by Zoia Krukovskaya Lagerkrans — a Russian painter trained by Wassily Kandinsky — she later studied Fine Arts and Art History in Aix-en-Provence.
Her painting explores the boundary between the visible world and that which passes through it: luminous figures, inner gardens, bursts of pure color. Through a dense and generous oil paint, worked in thick layers, she constructs spaces where joy, serenity, and presence can be read in the material itself.
Exhibited in Switzerland, Italy, France and the United States, she has been developing a coherent body of work for thirty years, rooted in intuition and color.
