About this artwork
Here on SINGULART, favored by curator Teresa Lucarelli, times.
"The Golden-Silver Circle" intertwines expressionism with a touch of surrealism and vintage influences to evoke captivating emotions. The golden circle symbolizes wholeness and the eternal cycle, enveloped in silver shades that symbolize depth and complexity.
Ps From time to time I break with my style for certain works and go a different way.
Because, as I write on my own website,… I stand for "art with attitude – and the courage to think outside the box."
Ben Plaumann is a self-taught Berlin artist whose works have already been exhibited at "ArtExpo" New York, "Red Dot" Miami and in Berlin - currently in the atrium of the "JW Marriott Marquis" hotel in Miami.
Shaped by an eventful life path - growing up in the east and north of Germany with stopovers in the south, as well as in the USA, he overcame various professional and personal hurdles in his life and always got back up.
His preference for gold and red tones creates powerful compositions that oscillate between modern contemporary abstraction and antique-looking aesthetics.
His expressionist art thrives on contrasts: dark meets glossy accents, structured surfaces meet spontaneous impulses, accompanied by classical and jazz music as well as incredible feelings of happiness while painting.
The works are expressive, emotional, and full of character. They are not just visual statements, but also invitations to pause, reflect, and discover.
