About this artwork
The work shows an African wild ass. This species is extremely critically endangered. It is estimated that there are only 800 animals left.
The small drawings are all made on very rough copper gravure paper and are delivered with a passe-partout in the format 70x50 cm. A white wooden frame can be supplied for an extra charge of 40 euros.

Since 1985 Benno Noll works as a freelance artist. The archaic emerges as a theme, but also illustrated by the choice of material in his pictures. He creates frescoes by working in alternating, filled with corroded iron and light, consisting of water, glazes. The layers sense the production process and give the work plasticity.
