About this artwork
People have at all times been fascinated by mythical birds - no one has ever seen one - of course - so they have a special status, like dragons. They exist in follk tales all over and they can inspire to good deeds but also to evil ones - bad omens or good ones depending on ones beliefs and the tradition in which you are brought up.
This bird is mainly painted on the easel -allowing the colors sometimes to flow freely which gives the bird a somewhat… dream like apperance.
The painting has a small symbol on the front and is signed on the back - the sides of the canvas are painted, so no frame is needed. It is ready to hang.
« When I am working on a painting I feel as if I am creating a new life! »
