Bernadette Duchoud, a self-taught painter and printmaker, trained at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Zurich and the Geneva Center for Contemporary Printmaking. She blends watercolor, oil paint, Indian ink, cotton and silk threads, on paper or canvas, with spontaneous freedom and great attention to the medium. Her work, deeply inspired by nature, expresses a vital need for expression and invites us to experience the instinctive poetry of her view of the world.
