About this artwork
In this work, I experimented with vibrant colors and dynamic forms to capture pure energy and movement. The combination of acrylic and ink underscores the powerful pulsation of the lines, reflecting my inner chaos and, at the same time, a vibrant order. It is intended to fill the space with excitement and joy, captivating and amazing every viewer.
The work is a homage to the Russian artist Wassily Kandinsky, a major figure in Expressionism. Circles,… triangles, and lines are typical of his synesthetic color harmonies.
I intensively explore various artistic styles and primarily create small-format works, max. 40x50 cm. My preferred medium is acrylic paint on stretched canvas.
I find my motivation in the floodplain forests of the Rhine Forest, in the Black Forest, but also on painting trips to Scotland, Andalusia, Tuscany, and Utah.

Bernd Stephanny is an artist who has learned the craft of drawing. He uses this background to constantly develop himself with mediums such as oil, pastel and watercolor. Through the traditional approaches of naturalism, he designs landscapes according to his own artistic tradition and creates characteristic traces and painting rhythms with generous brushstrokes.
