Berta Jayo is a multidisciplinary artist trained in Fine Arts in Spain, with postgraduate and master's degrees in London and New York. She uses photography, painting, installations, performances, sculpture, design, and artist's books. She employs conceptual techniques and irony. Her works convey freedom, invite reflection from a place of strangeness, and stimulate the creation of multiple personal interpretations, awakening internal questions and a sense of wonder. Artist's books: Sabático (2006), Poamario (2015), Regalos De Dios (2020). The Surrealist Absurdity of Nothingness will be published in 2026.
