About this artwork
Hello dear collector, Let me guid you to my artistic path. Here you can discover three types of works. My early pieces are ones I sell only for serious reasons. These works represent my artistic evolution and hold deep personal and historical significance. Then, there are paintings I work on for months and even years, refining every detail. These are priced in the thousands, reflecting the time, thought, and emotion invested in them. Lastly, I create…
impressionist works, painted in just a few days or even hours. In them, I capture the energy of the first brushstrokes, preserving the raw essence of the moment. Because they are completed quickly, they come at a lower price yet still carry the same passion and intensity. At my 70, with nearly half a century of painting, I dedicate 16 hours a day to my art—it is my life. To fully feel my work, I advise watching the short videos included in the photos. « For viewers who like art-it’s beauty. For an artist it’s like a machine of time. »
Besik Arbolishvili (b. 1955, Georgia) is a Georgian painter whose career spans over four decades. He graduated from the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts in Art History and Pedagogy (1981), and later in Fine Arts (1986). A representative of the 1980s generation of Georgian artists, his work reflects the shift from Soviet realism toward more symbolic and introspective forms. His practice includes portraiture, still life, landscape, and compositions with spiritual or mythological themes. Arbolishvili’s visual language is marked by tonal subtlety and structural harmony, drawing on Georgian traditions and broader European influences. Since 1976, he has exhibited in Georgia and abroad, including Germany, the UK, Russia, France, Turkey, Italy, Kuwait, and the USA. His works are held in collections such as the Dimitri Shevardnadze National Gallery (Tbilisi), the Otto Pankok Museum (Germany), and the Moscow Museum of Oriental Art. Besik's artowrk, "Winter”, was selected for the Samsung The Frame online catalog and is available on the Samsung Frame platform.
