About this artwork
In this work, I wanted to capture the emotional tension and distance that sometimes exist between two people who cross paths at a crucial moment. I used acrylic paint to highlight the contrast between light and shadow, creating an atmosphere charged with melancholy and anticipation. This painting conveys an intense energy that invites reflection on encounters and farewells in everyday life.

A graduate of Uruguay's National School of Fine Arts and a professor in Valencia, he primarily uses oil and acrylic on canvas or cardboard. His technique is distinctly expressionist, employing a palette of ochres, greens, and blues, and he incorporates dialogue between figures to narrate everyday life and its nuances. His works convey the depth of human experience, highlighting the beauty, sorrows, and joys of the common person, inviting reflection and empathy.
