About this artwork
"Tetto nero" - the black roof of a house that is visible behind a transparent surface. Here, too, as an initial point, an architectural motif that, despite alternating colored surfaces, has a transparent effect and thus enables the observer to openly engage in spatial perception.

The artist Birgitt Becker studied at the f Trier Design (1979 -1984). She lived in Rome since the late 90s, where she worked very successfully as an interior designer. In 2007 she moved back to Germany and exclusively dedicated herself to painting.
