With every brushstroke, I asked myself, ‘Am I happy now?’ The answer surfaced quietly as ‘No.’
People on the streets, whether accompanied or alone, carried their own warmth and sorrow. Yet, I felt like a stranger, belonging nowhere.
Days weighed down by meaninglessness and a lack of belonging stretched endlessly, like heavy eyelids closing on life’s purpose. An uneasy thought lingers—that the world beyond death… might mirror this very one.
