About this artwork
In this lithograph, I channeled the mysterious dialogue beneath the ocean's surface. The orcas symbolize strength and communication, converging around the sonar pulse that echoes their presence. Ocas, using their sonar, can simultaneously communicate their position in the hunt, their relation to their neighbor, and the closeness to the fish. Further, sonar hunting sounds are above the hearing range of fish.
