About this artwork
In this painting, I seek a balance between movement and stillness. The contrasts of blue, yellow, red, and white represent tension, which is constantly rearranged in the painting process. Lines and surfaces meet, repel each other, yet find a fragile harmony. This creates a space for me in which energy and balance are in dialogue with each other.
