About this artwork
This work consists of two canvases, which, as shown here, are also suitable for a folding screen. The folding screen is made of oiled alder and can be purchased separately if desired. Simple framing is also possible. The size of the canvas and the painting can be tailored to suit the interior.
The use of oil and gold foil reinforces the sense of value and permanence, while the delicate blossoms and robust branches represent the ongoing interplay… between fragility and strength. This painting brings a deep, contemplative energy to any home, inviting us to pause and contemplate, and encouraging us to see the beauty in the transient.
Britta Steding, a trained fashion designer with a focus on illustration, was drawn to art at an early age. As a designer, she sees her task as unleashing maximum creativity within a given framework. As an artist, she expresses her inner richness with her affinity for East Asian culture. Through large-format murals, she learned the craft on the one hand, and on the other, she realized her particular strength in being able to symbiotically combine her entire talent with the client's taste and the architectural specifications. She uses her skills from wall design to create large-format, refined canvases. Her gilded backdrops captivate with their brilliance and elegance, lending any room a regal atmosphere. Her works of art shimmer depending on the lighting conditions and convey a sense of contemplation. Figurative objects with glass mosaic tiles are particularly eye-catching.
