In this work, I have merged past and present, juxtaposing classicism and modernity. The couple, wrapped in a fabric reminiscent of traditional draperies, find themselves absorbed by contemporary technology, symbolized by a laptop and a smartphone. This painting questions the continuity of our human engagement through the ages, inviting reflection on our permanent connection,… through time, with the tools of communication. This tension between tradition and modernity will bring a deep and contemplative energy to any living space.
