About this artwork
The cardboard cutout reader is a two-part puppet (bust and legs) hinged around a pivot. Both parts can tilt differently.
Through this work, I express the curiosity and escape that comes from reading, surrounded by the tumult of chaotic information. I mixed techniques and collages to create a vibrant contrast, embodying the quest for knowledge amidst the ambient noise. This piece invites you to slow down, dive into the story and find refuge in the… pages, a unique energy to energize an interior where the mind seeks to escape.
