"And We Met Anyway" is about a meeting that goes beyond skin color, codes, and differences.
Born from an AI-generated image and then reinterpreted by hand, this work bridges the gap between the digital and the human. It pays homage to the spark provided by Damien, whose vision paved the way.
Beyond technology, it is life that breathes: the stories of First Peoples, of new communities, and those moments when two beings recognize each other despite… everything.
It is a work about reconciliation, about that gaze that crosses borders and silently says:
"I see you. I recognize you."
