About this artwork
The artist was inspired by sweet sparkling energies of love, tenderness and joy around Christmas and New Year’s Eve, when everything can be forgiven and faith shines through the darkness of winter.
The artist built the artwork in several layers, using brushes and palette knife to bring depth and textures to the work, as well as glazing and sfumato techniques to bring transparency and opacity to the painting.
It aims to give the viewer a refreshing… and energetizing feeling of vitality, delicacy and power.
40cm x 50cm x 2cm, Oil on canvas, 2020. This artwork is original and unique. It is signed at the front at the back by the artist Cæsiliæ. Ready to hang. Not framed.
« My mantra : I believe in the healing, powerful and delicate beauty of Nature and Arts. »
Cæsiliæ is an experienced Parisian painter with international roots, now based in Berlin. Drawing on personal loss, she seeks to build a spiritual and poetic artistic universe that facilitates healing whilst also acknowledging pain. Water features prominently in her figurative works; luminous reflections on lakes and oceans appear within outlines of female subjects caught in movement. These elements ultimately display a visual dance of light and feeling.
