This paper sculpture was born from my desire to capture the balance between simplicity and depth. The golden circles symbolize moments of light, the reflections of sea foam on the sand, while the texture evokes an almost palpable silence. Through engraving and ink, I wanted to infuse a calm energy, a minimalist breath that invites contemplation and inner peace into your space.
Caitrín Alexandre, a multidisciplinary artist trained in interior architecture and screen printing, primarily works with paper sculpture, enriched by her experience in floral and scenographic design. She uses scalpels and precious pigments to create series that combine geometric forms, botanical influences, and plays of light and shadow, all while maintaining an instinctive spontaneity. Her meditative and sensory work invites contemplation and evokes in the viewer a gentle introspection tinged with wonder at the mystery and poetry of paper.
