About this artwork
In this work, I wanted to capture the vibrant energy of nature through fluid brushstrokes and contrasting colors. The use of acrylic and oil pastel creates an intense texture, while the semi-abstract forms suggest leaves and landscapes in flux. Inspired by the Atlantic Forest, specifically the Jequitibá-rosa tree, which has pink/red wood, this work evokes a sense of rebirth and movement, ideal for infusing vitality and calm into any space.
