About this artwork
I made friends with a Snowy Owl during my winter walks. Every weekend I would telepathically communicate the meeting place and the owl was waiting or would soon appear. These birds are representative of big metaphysical energy especially for the Inuit people of the far north of Canada.and this relationship had an important impact on my life. In the Spring when the time came for the owl to fly North, the bird flew right to me to say she was on…
her way. This painting was the result of this parting. The clear quartz, a major energy magnifier helps empower the silver. Silver acts as a mirror to the soul allowing one to see oneself and others from outside the body. Its a balancing agent pulling negativity from the body and replacing it with positive energy of the silver. This painting has great magic and love in its energy. The impasto and movement feels and sounds like the whisper of the owl 's wings.
