About this artwork
Something very harsh, selfish and opportunistic is tormenting this world. Assuming we would find meaning in our existence, is precisely how we ended up losing our landmarks. Then our work took shape, in our own very special way. But creating is a fairly illusory job. Who knows where it starts and when it ends? More than an acolyte, this piece of work made us lose our sense of belonging in this world. Our creations should speak for us, become our… masters, and eventually the real sense of our living. Raw and violent aesthetics to convey our too often inhibited sensitivity. Austere and cold world.
Exposure of the reality that relies on our eyes. State of innocence and desertion. The sun is falling, leaving only but exhaustion deep in our souls. Our thoughts shall not calm down for the night does not ease any sorrow. Darkness takes us, and people reveal themselves. Black gets more intense as reality keeps appearing.
CAR ACT AIR uses a wide variety of media, ranging from painting to photography, from drawing to textile design, enriched by training in applied arts and fashion design at the Sorbonne. She employs free techniques and raw, authentic styles, exploring unconstrained expression to infuse each work with a unique vitality. Through her creations, she conveys intense emotions of freedom, anxiety, and a skin-deep sensitivity to the harshness of the world, inviting profound reflection on existence and solidarity.
