About this artwork
Unakite is an original abstract painting inspired by the organic structures and colors of natural minerals. Transparent layers in various shades of green, olive, and warm earth tones overlap to create a tranquil, harmonious composition of great depth and lightness. The circular movements are reminiscent of organic structures, tree rings, or mineral deposits, inviting the viewer to continually discover new details.
The natural canvas remains deliberately… visible and becomes an active part of the artwork. The transparent layers of paint create a unique light effect, lending the painting openness and atmosphere.
The painting was created with high-quality acrylic paint on canvas and finally sealed with UV protective varnish to preserve the color brilliance in the long term.
