About this artwork
From a vast white silence, a body begins to appear—almost as if the canvas were exhaling it into existence.
The torso and legs seem carved out of light and shadow, as if the figure were in the very act of materializing—or fading—inside the empty field of the canvas. There is a palpable struggle between control and surrender, effort and release. The rope becomes both tension and connection, extending beyond the frame and linking the figure to something… that exists outside the visible scene. The large expanse of untouched space intensifies the sense of suspension, inviting the viewer to step into the invisible force that is pulling from the other side.
