About this artwork
My drawings originate from the white surface of the paper, which corresponds to the timeless, the unformed. In accordance with the English expression "to draw a line" (to draw a boundary), a vessel-like shell is created through a drawn "weaving" process, which closes off and protects the inner space from the unlimited space outside.
The individual structure of each drawing conveys an invisible inner world to the outside. Additionally, the varying… balance between vulnerability and aggression, fragility and stability, closure and openness determines the unique character of each drawing.
