About this artwork
In my work I fuse acrylic, oil paints with varnish and organic materials. I wanted to create a vibrant, abstract universe that is intense and luminous, where lives collide. Small, exciting drops and swirling darkness against an overwhelming yellow background, symbolizing the unexpected and beautiful moments in life. This painting is intended to bring a warm, dynamic energy to any home, to inspire and remind viewers daily of the power and beauty of… spontaneous joy in life.
This work is part of a series (I-III). The other two works have already been sold.
Carolin Schmidt, known as "LaFabricarte," is a self-taught artist from Cologne who dedicates herself to abstract painting. Her techniques eschew concrete representations, instead using forms, lines, and colors to express emotions and ideas. Her works, sometimes colorful, sometimes somber, evoke strong emotional responses and invite viewers to discover their own interpretations.
