About this artwork
In this work of mine, I wanted to capture the intensity and complexity of human emotions through the vibrant use of acrylic and pastels.
The subject's expression reflects moments of deep reflection, almost a silent pause in an internal dialogue.
Each line and color carries with it an emotional energy that, I hope, can enrich and bring a new perspective to the homes where it will find a place.
The work already mounted on a frame is ready to be… hung even without the need for a frame.
Exhibited in March 2024 at the exhibition "Arte, femminile singolare" at the ARTtime Gallery in Udine, on the occasion of Women's Day.
Signed on the bottom and titled on the back.

Carolina Polara is an emerging artist born in Florence in 1986, she expresses herself through oil painting and mixed media, with a style that blends realism and abstraction. In her works, the pictorial gesture becomes an emotional story: bodies, skies and animals intertwine in a continuous search for inner freedom.
His works are born from an intimate and reflective urgency: he loves to paint creatures in which he emotionally recognizes himself, mirrors of moods that become silent symbols of a personal and visionary world.
