About this artwork
In this work, I sought to capture the dynamic and ephemeral essence of nature. Using acrylic, gilding and ink, I created a scene that navigates between the concrete and the abstract - reminiscent of eternal waves against the shore. The rich texture and captivating colors infuse energy and tranquility, bringing a living balance to any space.
« Creation is the freedom to see the world with all its colors. »
Catherine le Roux is a French artist whose works have been exhibited nationally in numerous group and solo events, as well as in Germany. She believes that creativity allows freedom of expression which permits a pictorial escape. For le Roux, each composition is like a journey and when a canvas is finished, she has arrived at her destination. After years of devoting herself to the figurative, "the absentee imposed itself" and her artistic approach has been radically transformed.
