Catherine Rose is a Quebec artist whose work explores the invisible dimensions of female resilience and inner reconstruction.
Her painting accompanies women on a journey of remembrance: recognizing who they are, honoring their potential, and embracing the wisdom that unfolds with time. Nature, and more specifically the floral world, becomes a sensitive language to evoke these passages and metamorphoses.
Driven by a desire to reintroduce slowness and presence into everyday life, she envisions painting as an intimate ritual, nourished by writing and contemplation. Her works, rich in texture, are constructed through the layering of recycled fragments, translucent veils, and organic gestures. Imperfections and asymmetry play a central role, allowing a sincere emotion and a transformative movement to emerge.
