Catherine Timotei is a renowned French artist who lives between Corsica, France and South Africa, where her works have been presented in major exhibitions. Inspired by her European cultural heritage and by the great Abstract Expressionists, she composes vibrant works that explore ideas of consciousness, transcendentalism and human experience. Her aesthetic choices are based on a philosophical interest and a desire to express emotion and touch the human soul.
