In this work I delved into the world of imagination and memory, using deep blue tones to evoke the nostalgia and mystery of childhood. Working with acrylic and spray paint, I sought to create a surreal atmosphere where the figures almost transform into dreamy spirits in the midst of a nature that is both gentle and wild. Catherine Zivi, trained in pottery and specialized in sculpture, also uses mixed techniques in painting and engraving for her paintings. She uses chamotte clay and pigments in natural tones to create soft sculptures: garden sculptures or interior sculptures. She combines drawing, painting, collage and engraving in her paintings, constantly incorporating new techniques. Through her favorite themes - people, feelings, cities and nature - she expresses a poetry necessary to appreciate nature and find serenity.
