About this artwork
A work from the collection “Landscapes for Music”.
- In this new work of mine I wanted to highlight, reveal, make clear the importance that music has had in these creations.
I chose to use for this work a mixed technique of watercolour and coloured pencils, a seemingly simple technique, but which on the contrary requires great application, long times alternating with pauses and reflections. -
This work is made on Arches 640 gr. watercolor paper… and mounted on a white passepartout and a cardboard support so that it is ready to be framed.

Cesare Reggiani is an Italian painter and draftsman whose works have been widely exhibited on a national level, as well as in France, the Netherlands, and Germany. Through the search for a compositional synthesis, he endeavors to convey a sense of timelessness, stasis, and contemplation. Reggiani often depicts mirrors, the horizon, nature, and water with the animal subjects and white monoliths, which allows him to communicate a state of "timeless suspension". His distinctive pieces are created using oils on canvas.
